FAQs

Here are answers to some common questions. If you don’t see what you need, feel free to contact me directly
What ages do you teach?
I typically work with children aged 7 to 16, although I am happy to discuss individual needs outside this range.
Do you follow a specific curriculum?
I tailor lessons to each child’s individual needs. Some students follow a particular curriculum (such as UK Key Stages, international school programmes, or homeschool curriculums), while others focus on developing broader reading, writing, and literature skills. I am happy to work alongside your child’s existing studies or create a personalised programme.
Do you prepare students for exams?
While I do not specialise in entrance exam preparation, I can support students in developing the skills they need for school assessments, written assignments, and general academic progress in English.

Do you work across different time zones?
Yes! I work with students from all over the world and regularly teach across multiple time zones — including Europe and Asia. Whether you’re based in the UK, on the continent, or further afield, I’ll do my best to find a time that fits your schedule. Just let me know your availability, and we’ll find a time that works for both of us..
Can parents sit in on lessons?
Parents are always welcome to be present during lessons if they wish, particularly at the start. My aim is always to create a calm, safe environment where both students and parents feel comfortable.
What platform do you use for lessons?
Lessons are conducted on Classin, a professional online teaching platform specifically designed for education. It offers interactive tools such as shared whiteboards, screen sharing, and learning materials, providing a smooth and engaging experience for students. Full instructions for accessing Classin will be provided before your first lesson. The platform is secure, easy to use, and free for students.
